It drove very nicely. Now I'm in serious consideration - Two Owner 36,000 mi. Original everything - Perfect? - No - But a super nice survivor. Original window sticker, plus even has the invoice for Ziebart at 974 mi.

Remember there's a wife involved (and previously I've been told I'm at my limit - plus she's "not thrilled" with the interior.

Very clean looking.

Did you get any shots of the engine compartment?

My apologies, I did overstate a bit - Tires, Plug Wires, Plugs, and few other consumables aren't original. This whole thing has got me a bit excited.

Yeah, I don't think you would want to drive on 30 year old tires!

I think the 8 makes a great companion for the 4A

Great car, do it! You'll regret not picking it up, if you pass it up and gets sold.

If you are interested in one that is slightly modified for better driveability, I'm considering selling the silver TR8 I did up for my wife. Now that it's done, she's decided she wants another TVR instead. The gold one for sale on ebay from Cape Cod right now is also a decent car for the money. That one belongs to a buddy of mine.

Once you drive one of these cars you get hooked. I am proof of that.

Yep - if Tony were still with us, Paul wouldn't have the one he has now!

Hey! That's my interior color you are talking about! For the record I hate that paint color! ...I kid, I kid....

Wife issues eh?

Fix the A/C. On the next 90+ degree day, put the top up and take a drive out of town for lunch. Trust me, this works really well. 70 MPH, cool air, smooth modern ride.... drop the top once you arrive and away you go!

If there isn't any rust (and it doesn't look like it) that car looks like a great place to start. Lots of hacked up ones out there....

Looks to be in great condition. I'd have a hard time not buying ot too. Always wanted an 8. You only live once, and who knows the duration of the ride?

Buy it and enjoy!

Reluctantly must report that I passed on the vehicle. Sat on the fence going over alot of considerations and finally decided I wasn't going to be its next owner. So far I'm "OK" with the decision.

Jay -

Sounds like a fair price, from what I can see. But it also sounds like you made the right decision, as it seemed like you (and your wife) weren't totally enamored with it.

Somebody needs to grab this one!
