Frank Clarici, "Spritenut" on this forum, has passed away. From the Spridget mail list:

"It is with heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write this. I just got
off the phone with Frankie Clarici. They are still pretty much in shock but
he told me that he had just returned from the hospital. Frank Clarici, the
dean of Spridgets, suffered a heart attack and passed away today. I will
try to keep everyone informed as funeral plans proceed.

God Speed, Frank. I miss you already...."

Oh my word, that's horrible news. Unbelievable.

Deepest condolences to his family.

Oh, no.... What to say. We were all just posting back and forth on Saturday. This has happened far too many times in the past couple of years.
Everyone, give your loved ones a hug.

Sorry to hear, the family will be in our prayers

My sincere condolences and prayers to his family. He has been a member here since the very early days! (registered back in Jan 01!)

If someone want's to PM me their address (if you know it) I'll send some flowers on behalf of the forum.

Soo sad. Our condolences to his family.

Awful news. Condolences from us to the family.

That is really terrible news! I saw Frank and his cars every summer.

Many of you may know that he was the main person behind the good and generous "Holy Sprite" project here in NJ.

A life well-lived, but gone too soon.........

That is terrible. I exchanged several emails with him over the years. He was always very helpful and knowledgeable. He will be missed.

Very sad, RIP Spritenut. That was very good thing he did helping the father get the Bugeye going. He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Frank at Lake of the Ozarks in 2008.
He was not only walking dictionary of everything Spridget, but a warm and friendly man. He ad a great family and I could tell he was having a blast, especially at the Midget pulling contest!
I was looking forward to seeing him again at Road America.

I am shocked and gutted by this news. My condolances and best wishes to his family. He will be missed by many, but all of us are better because he was here.

Phil

Really sorry to hear this, my heart goes out to his family. Frank posted on most of the LBC boards and was always fun and informative. He will be missed by many.

RIP, Frank.

So, so sad. I never met Frank but he surely was Mr. Spridget and a real inspiration to all who knew or knew of him. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Frank.

Guess someone, we know who, needed some Bugeye work done.

Dam shame, why is it always the good guys.

Frank was definitely one of the good guys. He always seemed to have the answer to any problem. I had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago when I sold him a car - what else, a Bugeye! It's such sad news.... He will be missed.

RIP Frank.

This is so hard to believe. I PM'd back and forth a lot with Frank for several years and felt like I knew him personally as the tenor of his messages was just like speaking directly with him in person. I was hoping to meet him at a future event but now I guess that will never happen.
My prayers and thoughts are with his family, RIP Spritenut.
Roy :driving: drive on brother....
