I just learned that one of my co-workers died unexpectedly today. Not sure the cause of death yet, but it was apparently very sudden and not expected at all.

Sorry, Boss.

Hug those close to you - you never know...

News like that is the worst kind... so sorry.

Oh wow. Not good! When it comes outta the blue like that it devastates all concerned.

Very sorry to hear this, Basil.

We're all getting to that point, Basil.....take care.

Sorry to hear that, Boss. What Tony said.

I posted my heart when I lost my neighbor Cam... I get it.

Keep Mick's advice in the front of your brain.

Basil,

That's too bad, especially this time of year.
Hope their family's coping well.

- Doug

Grim reminder, that.

Good advice, Mickey, very good.

Sorry to hear, Basil.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the feeling - like getting punched in the gut and you just can't get your breath.

Been to 2 funerals since Thanksgiving.....1 an old WWII vet, the other an elderly lady member of our church.

& now, we're becoming the 'elderly' members!

Oi! Thought to you and yours, and to the family of you co worker. On the bright side, Decembers over. I'm coming to believe more and more every year that that month is cursed. This year was no different. I attended the calling hours of an 8 year old boy, Eli, that died from swine flu. He was cousin to a co worker/friend of mine. And yesterday the family got news that the grandfather has an inoperable tumor on his lung. Another friends father died rather suddenly about 2 weeks ago. some other friends at church lost thier father last week.
In the past this seems to be the time of year that if it's gonna go wrong, it will. It extends into stuff as well.
