Tenax fasteners on windscreen

I have 2 holes in the windscreen frame that are stripped of threads. Any help on how to remedy? New studs are no problem if they can be made to stay in.

I would drill larger holes, tap new threads, Loctite in threaded plugs (cut off machine screws, maybe stainless steel or brass), and drill & tap new holes to the original specs. You might not even have to drill the larger holes if the next size tap will cut the threads in the stripped holes without snapping. You could drill & tap the plugs before inserting them. If you do that, you could use a Tenax stud or appropriate sized machine screw to insert the plug. This would allow you to insert the plug to be flush with no post insertion trimming.

Thanks for the idea. May just work, I have one other; braze the hole shut, drill and re-tap. For this I need someone with a light touch to save the chrome. I'm new to BCF and should have put all of this in tr3 category, sorry.
