Tempurature sender Ohms ?

Anyone know what the resistance of the TR6 coolant tempurature sender? I ran across some article that said it was 10-180 ohms, when I tested my sender it measured around 115, which I thought was odd because it was at room temp (64 Degrees).

I have a little project going and want to use a Smiths gauge on something that doesn't have the same thread and size as a TR6. So I need to match the resistance just in a different sender size.

Thanks for any help.

Why is it that you notice the mis-spelled words only after you post.

Do a search on posting I have made to this forum for that. I did a controlled lab test of mine (in the kitchen on the stove while my wife was out of the house). The results of this test I have posted on here in the past. I am at work now and don't have access to the results but you can find them here with that serach.
