I am removing the wood dash in my 66 BJ8. I have almost everything done. i should say out. How do you get the temperature bulb out of the block? Is it a 5/8 nut or is it metric? I have sprayed it with liguid wrench but the wrench keeps slipping.

Thanks,

Steve

Get a 5/8" spark plug socket from Wal Mart or some other cheap place, cut a slot into itclengthwise with a grinder so that you can get the capilary tube into it and you can unbolt it that way. Otherwise there is very little room to manouver an open end wrench in there.
