When sitting in seat which way should the threaded ring on back of steering wheel unscrew to release from column? Also any suggestions of grabbing hold of said ring to turn without damaging? Thanks for the input
 
It is RH Threaded. Grip tightly with the hand on the Knurled section and twist CCW hard! to undue--Fwiw--Keoke
