The insanely rich drink too much of the free booze in the 'blue-blood" section and over bid on cars to show thier blue blood friends how rich they are. The prices car go for at these event does not realy reflect thier true value, but it does help us in the hobby, it doesn't mean that clpped out rusted Bugeye sitting out beside the barn is all a sudden worth $10K, but it does mean that maybe we're getting closer to the point that our cars are worth what we spend on them to restore them, and this is a good thing, not a bad thing.
