Teal Blue Interior

I have added a page to my site called 'Teal Blue' which might be of interest to some of you.

This refers to the blue interior that was used in 1956 on BN2s and early BN4s. In fact if you have a 1956 Healey Blue
or Healey Blue/Ivory White BN2 then your car would have had this colour and not the navy blue colour that is known to all.

The colour was discontinued around October 1956 so that meant only a very few Longbridge BN4s would have this colour. I have not seen one, and they dont get restored in this colour. Any body know of one?

go to:
www.healeysix.net and click on Teal Blue to see examples of the colour and the story behind it.

I do not think that any suppliers anywhere produce this interior. Heritage used to to make up special orders for customers of unique colours but they have stopped doing this. You would have to find a specialist who would dye the leather for you. It can be done. I know of someone in Toronto

Please note that this colour was never available for a BT7. It was only in existence for about 9 months in 1956
