Reassembly should be pretty straightforward from what I've read 'cept the doors. I hear they are murder to align. Looks great so far.

No - TD's were never painted white

That's Ivory which really is a soft cream to primrose.

When I dropped by the shop today, it was fogged black over the tan primer as they get ready to block sand!

Yeah, I prefer the matched color over the chrome.

Chrome slats are rare on a T-Series. The Y-Type had them and they look nice, but the car is much larger, hence more painted area to counter the extra chrome.

They're aftermarket is why.

Sorta like chrome headlight buckets.

Yes definitely not stock in either case. Points off for originality if you are into that. The chrome buckets and grill slats are a bit too much bling for these babies.

Chrome headlight buckets are standard on TA, TB and TC. I haven't seen chrome slats offered as aftermarket parts. I always assumed they were a custom thing.

TD had painted headlight buckets & slats standard...buckets were body color, slats matched interior....mine had chrome headlight buckets - until we sandblasted them...now, they're primered & awaiting paint!

TABC slats also matched interior. But I don't like black slats so my slats are body color... red. I do however like black mesh.
