This showed up in my inbox this morning - it in Florida and a project.

I have not included the contact info for security reasons - so, PM me if interested.

PS I have no pics or other info. NFI

Hello again folks:

I spoke to you both back in late October and was curious about putting an ad or information in your newsletters concerning

The sale of the 1952 MG TD my father had before he passed that is located at his residence which is in Port St. John near Cocoa

In Florida. It has been disassembled, parts sandblasted, all parts and pieces stored [original] and we even have 4 or 5 manuals

With reference to the restoration etc.

Without seeing it, that's a hard sell JP. No pictures, very little information, other than it's a basket case with a little work done on it. The work that's been done has no bearing on the sell without knowing what work was done, how well it was done and how long has it sat after. He has to put more information out just to get someone to look at it. Is the wood good and if so how much of it is good? $$$$ It could be a money pit or possibly a good buy, no way of knowing. JMHO. I completely agree - just the messenger - more info is available if someone wants to follow it up.

There still seems to be a lot of TDs out there in basket form. Once its revealed that everything on it needs to be restored , rebuilt, replaced etc. the novelty wears off.

Agreed - actually this seems to extend to a lot of cars - particularly the cars (MGB/ Midget/ etc) That aren't as economical to restore and/ot the complicated T series cars that just seem to overwhelm people.
