I've got a new Alu. Fuel Tank & my thoughts are that the Fuel, moisture in Fuel & additives are probably some level of corrosive on the Alu. Tank just as they are on the Steel Tanks. Any one have experience with Alu. Fuel Tanks?

At 10% ethanol ... I would not expect a problem.

If you do seal it, I think I'd go with an epoxy system over the isocyan-acrylate (sp?) stuff.

I have had a custom made aluminum tank in my Healey since 1980 or so. Never have had a problem. I wouldn't touch yours until you do.

Think it's based on number of posts. Post more.
Is there a "Chewy" hopeful? I have a Healey friend who looks like one!
