There are only a couple of days left for good driving and I wanted to post up a pic of the GT6. Some have wanted to see it. The car came out about a month ago after about 4 years being restored...I think it came out pretty well.

Beautiful machine. I have a huge soft spot for the GT6 and GT6+. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

The Jeep does not move very often, it is the car that has all the crime scene stuff in it. I want to get a pic of it with the Crown Vic patrol cars parked around it....makes it look small.

What a great looking car!...of course, my opinion might be a little slanted toward MKIs... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

cherokee, I'm curious as to your VIN#. Mine is KC7016L. Though it was titled as a '68, it has the single line master brake cylinder, so it was built pre August of '67.

The GT-6 looks spectacular. Great for you for driving your car just as it was intended in the '60's. An ex-brother in law had a ratty GT-6 which he left with me when he entered the armed forces.

I absolutely loved driving the car. Compared to my '63 Spitfire, it seemed as though I had bought an E-Type. I've always wanted one since then.

My daily Triumphs have continued to be driven to work, even in Maine winters. My '80 TR-7 Spider provides me with daily transportation to work, and a 120 mile round trip home every weekend. I might be the only person to purchase snow tires for a TR-7 in quite some time /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Keep driving them - Triumphs run better when run hard.

Jeff

My car is KC13362. I have not looked into the vin's before, it is labeled as April 1 68 on the plate but has 67 on the title.

Yes it does have a dual line master. Pretty cool it is in the last of the MK1's
I drove it buy the guy that painted it at lunch today, he said YOUR DRIVING IT. Well ya...its a car right?
