TR2/3/3A Tachometer

Might start by disconnecting the cable from the back of the tachometer and seeing if it's turning. With a little luck, it's just a broken cable.

But if the cable is broken, you must figure out what broke it. Check the mechanism inside the tach for smooth movement; it might be jammed.

+1 on the tach cable. It could either be a broken cable or one that is not engaging properly at one end or the other. The dizzy drive is pretty bullet proof, and the tach instrument rarely goes dead without acting up first.
