<span style='font-family: Verdana'><span style='font-size: 14pt'><span style="color: #993399">Folks, I apologize!</span></span> <span style="color: #006600">Many of you have been inquiring by PM and email about the status of the T-Shirts. Rather that continuing to reply individually, I thought I'd post the latest update.

Since before Christmas I have been telling you the T-shirts were coming. There have been many false starts when I thought the shirts were on the way, only to learn later there had been some further delay. I have as much patience as the next guy, but at some point I have to make a decision, and that is what I'm doing now.

I know that Lee is doing his best to get the shirts done and shipped, but on the other hand, you all expect to get the shirts you have paid for in a reasonable time. For various mostly valid reasons, that has not happened.

The last word I got from Lee was last Wednesday, Jan 24th, at which time Lee informed me of the following:</span> <span style="color: #3333FF">

<span style="color: #006600">I have been trying since then to get some confirmation that they have in fact been shipped to me, but as of Sunday afternoon, I have no confirmation that has in fact happened. I am not saying they have not been shipped, I am only saying I have no confirmation they were. I only know that as of Saturday, I do not have the shirts in my possession. If I do get confirmation later, or if the shirts show up on my doorstep, I will update this thread.

<u>The bottom line is this</u>, if I don't have either the shirts in my possession, or at least a <u>shipment confirmation number</u> by next Wednesday the 31st, it is my intention to begin returning the money that all of you have paid. Most of you paid by Paypal, so I will simply re-Paypal your money back to you.

If the shirts end up arriving after that time, I will contact each person again and offer the shirts to you for the same price as before. If you are no longer interested, I will offer the unclaimed shirts to the general forum population. However, I want to give the original buyers first right of refusal.

Again, I know Lee is doing his best, but at the same time, I can't keep stringing you all along indefinitely – at some point I have to make a decision and I think waiting another week is reasonable. I apologize for the inconvenience.

<span style='font-family: Verdana'><span style="color: #003300"><span style='font-size: 14pt'>I have received an email from Lee indicating that he is really trying to get the shirts done and shipped but he is moving into a new shop (I think he's starting a restoration business) and has been busy moving into his new digs the last couple of weeks.

I know he feels bad about this and he has asked that I give it until the end of the week before I give up and start refunding money. So I will give it until the end of the week but after that I am returning all monies collected for the shirts. I know some of you said you didn't want your $$ returned, but I really don't want to get into the book keeping of who I refund and who I don't. Its easier for me to just send it all back. I am hoping that I can get a confirmation by then.

<span style='font-family: Verdana'><span style="color: #993399"><span style='font-size: 14pt'>OK, I was finally able to get ahold of Lee and spoke with him on the phone this morning. As he indicated in his email, he is really trying to get the shirts done and shipped. It turns out he is trying to start up a restoration business and has been very much occupied with getting things set up for that.

We came to an agreement, and he assures me that he WILL get all the Triumph and MG shirts for sure shipped to me by weeks end. I should have a tracking number for UPS no later than Saturday. The TR and MG shirts are the bulk of the order, but if he can get any other other logos done he will include those as well. The rest of the Shirts (other misc logos) will be shipped NLT next Thursday (as I say he will try to get as many of those done as possible with teh TR and MG shirts).

We have an understanding that, if I don't get confirmation that the TR and MG shirts are shipped but this Saturday, I will have to start refunding the money.

<span style="color: #CC0000"><span style='font-size: 17pt'>Saturday came and went. I did not receive a tracking number. I have started sending your money back. I made a bunch of refunds tonight and will continue in the AM. I will refund using Paypal until my available Paypal funds are exhausted and will "add funds" from my bank to make up the difference. Most of you will get your refunds tonight or tomorrow, but a few will have to wait until the funds I transfer become available in my PayPal account.

I never acknowledged the Paypal return when you decided to start refunding money. I will assume that the 20.00 went back to you. If so, I understand the shirts are available again minus the sleeve logo.

I am still interested in a shirt. Thanks.

According to my PayPal records, the refund transaction was completed as follows. Thus, the mony should be in your PayPal account as of that time and date.

Date: Feb. 4, 2007
Time: 09:10:18 PST
Status: Completed

If your PayPal records do not indicate receipt of the money at that time, let me know so I can contact PayPal and find out what is going on.

At this point, if you want a T-Shirt you will need to go into the BCF Store and purchase whichever one you want(Click the "Support Your Forum" button in the boxes on the left or in the Announcements forum description area).

I emailed all who had originally purchased shirts and then waited a week before making whatever was left over available to the general membership. If you did not receive that email it may have been tagged as SPAM by your system, but I did make an effort to contact everyone. Hopefully the size and color you want is still available in the store.
