Tomorrow night I hook up and sleep a few hours and then leave out at 0400. Wife won't sleep much and will be grouchy and will sleep in the truck as always. Looking to hit Nashville around 1000 then North on I24 to St louis by afternoon. It all depends on the hills and the temps and the weather. A 3000 pound ranger pulling 2000 pounds of midget and trailer with a 2.3L engine is slow going at times but we will get there. Look for us. One more day of work, whew.

Hope to see you there, Kim....we're loading up tomorrow night also...pulling out around 6am Wednesday morning but heading through Memphis instead of Nashville.

Oh yeah, Best of luck to you Tony. I would take the same route if I were you. Passing through Corinth MS, no doubt on the way to Memephis. Big open roads there.

Once I start the trip, I will turn my cell phone on and leave it on. If I can help anyone along the way let me know. I am passing through St Louis but I don't plan on stopping there unless I have to. All new territory for me when I head north from nashville. I spent some time in IL, but that was farther North around the champaign/urbana area. Will be interesting.

Yep, through Corinth....US72 straight from Huntsville to Memphos...4-lane all way across Alabama & Mississippi to Tennessee line!
