Yes...I'm aware of that....I even own one.

Mea Culpa..

I was deep in thought as to how Don had worded it in his interview.

Don't worry, I was just kidding.

That sucks but you are lucky for the RB's. I was hit three times when I lived in Chicago. The first time the other driver rear ended me and had no insurance and fled the scene. The second time my car was hit while parked by a drunk driver who took out the three cars behnd me with the last car hitting mine. The third time was the charm. Rear ended again and finally someone with freaking insurance. they paid for three hits to the rear on a CB 74 GT.

sheesh... I would have been over the top irate if there had been sheet metal damage to my B. I've been in plenty of accidents in my youth; most were the fault of the other driver. But this accident would have set me off to no end if there was body damage because I'd just straightened out the front right inner fender panel (I believe Moss calls it the Splash Panel) over the weekend.

Ya see, my car was in an accident before I got a hold of it. Who ever did the body work to the car after that accident seemed to have done an 'ok' job aesthetically. However, they cut corners and didn't bother with the bits you don't see. Thankfully, the gap that bent splash panel left didn't cause that right front fender to rust out, but it DID let in a lot of leaves, dirt, and other nasties I'd rather not know about. A good 5 minutes with a water hose cleared all that goop out, and it had plenty of time to dry out while I straightened out that sheet metal. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Hopefully, I'll get more parts before the weekend so I can continue my hobby... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
