I don't think so. The title of this post is that of another post he made a few days earlier, which was deemed a bit too political in nature, and so a couple of fellow Mods locked the thread and deleted the original post. I never saw the original post and so I am unable to comment on its contents, one way or the other.
He seems to have been upset over them doing that. I think that's another way of saying "I'm outta here!"

It doesn't hurt to point out that not one of the moderators takes action on his own, unless there is such a blatant transgression that it needs taking out immediately.
The usual is for the moderator who spots the post and feels that it's a potential "no-no", to post in the moderators forum and solicit a second opinion before taking action. I know that this is what happened here, because I read the exchange between the moderators, albeit well after the post was taken out.
It's tough, because there are many cases where we find a post funny, or maybe it's something that we agree with, and there is a fine line between "leave it" and "yank it".
There is a good cross-section of guys who do the moderating, a university professor, a professional pilot, two ex-military, a minister and an ex-cop, and I know that between us we run the gamut of "political persuasions" so if two or more of us think that a post is too political and should be pulled then it's a really good bet that it is over the top.

It strikes me as this is one of the longer "non-threads" about "nothing"!! Should make it an episode on "Seinfelt"! 
Seriously though, and speaking as one who has been "moderated", you guys actually do a sterling job riding herd on this bunch of doggies!!! I find it hard understanding that someone would have a problem with the whole forum because they transgressed and had a post yanked! In this instance, prefacing the post with a disclaimer that "this is humor, not political" does NOT alter what obviously must have been some pretty one-sided political slant that would be sure to raise the dander of those with opposing political views, regardless whether "Left" or "Right"! :thumbsup:
