well, one of the tasks of the day was reupholstering the seats on the kitchen chairs - so, take off seat, remove staples from last fabric, cut new fabric, lay over seat, staple to bottom reinstall seat bottoms - easy peasy.

Got the hand staple gun and the electric staple gun - neither worked satisfactorily - seats are hard particle board so staples don't go in fully. Plus issues with staples not quite fitting and jamming.

So, dragged out the pneumatic finish nailer/stapler - ran the air hose into the kitchen and let her have at it. Done in a fraction of the the time, done better but now SWMBO thinks I have been holding out on her by not giving her the "good tools." She had LOTS of fun.

Don't even want to tell her about the big nailer - what to do?

Get her a tool box and tools of her own so she doesn't borrow yours.

 Actually Mrs JP is more than handy! She and I have renovated more rooms than we can count - and she still does pretty much all the tiling. I call her my Joanne Liebeler.

(As an aside, in the general scheme of what I find attractive in a woman. "helpless" women do nothing for me)
