Sweeeeet! Rear discs!

The early cars came with generators and used single viscosity non-detergent oil. Also had bias-ply tires, asbestos brakes, etc. Should one revert to that configuration as well? Unless you are going all out for a concours win, we all make changes from the original to make our cars more usable. We just draw the line in different places.....
 
Hmmm, did I say that? Noooooo, I said rear drums work fine for street use.
