George Carlin was right.

Vindicated! Finally!!!

That has been a remedy for LBC repair mishaps around here for YEARS! No doubt a contributing factor in continuing relentlessly to scrape knuckles and pinch finger on them!! :jester:

PS: Doc., I haven't found much he was ever wrong on!!

doc, yes he was!, i am myself a rather prolific, selective, creative, yet considerate orator of the profane, if one had the fortune to witness my missing the head of a common roofing nail while flailing about a 21 ounce hammer having it instead stike my own thumb , one might compare the following construction and symphony of such verbage to that of benjamin franklin or abraham lincoln's more eloquent speaches.

What, me - a lady - cuss? You betcha!!!

Trying to compress Corvette springs.....!@$#%$^!#%!~#$^%&^%^*&^*($&&*!%^!#!@%~!!!! Ah, now I feel better....but, the spring still isn't compressed!

judow, seriously, ive never heard my wife "cuss" at anything or anyone...ah...sept me, hum, i wonder why. where i grew up the "cussin" was elevated to an art form, i once won a pack of marlboros behind the hamball courts at sheapshead bay h.s. in brooklyn. with just one lengthy triple "x" rated diatribe. believe me, the competition was deep,... oh ya, forgot to mention, i can do this in 3 languages.

I think to be a cult figure you actually have to find someone who doesn't like the guy. That's something I haven't been able to do with Carlin.

BTW, am i the only one who finds these words a good way to focus effort as well as pain? I find a small vocabulary of such things is a good thing have to inspire your car/wrench/drill/etc. to do what you want it to, and that that vocabulary varies from car to car. My TR6 responds well to a reversed 1st consonant version of a common phrase that rhymes with "trucker brother" , my old Mopars liked female anatomy terms  , and my 1960 Buick required still stronger language that I had to insure my kids never heard :nonono: .

My old Japanese daily drivers responded well to German commands, but I'll let that one alone!

My mantra - Cussin is better than ulcers! One question: Why is that we always learn the cuss words and food words when we are in a foreign environment??? Just wondering out loud.
