sway bar link bushings fit problem

I ordered new end link assemblies p/n 12-594 (Victoria British) and Polyurethane bushings p/n 5-990. My problem is that the diameter of the link pin is 1mm larger than the hole in the bushing and it won't fit. There are not any other choices in the catalog, so what now? Just got the parts today so haven't had a chance to call VB. Anyone have any ideas? Do I have the wrong parts? HELP! again...

Drill the bushing out- :hammer:

Like Keoke said, you'll need to bore the bushings out somehow. Maybe a cork borer?

Be advised I did the same thing--poly bushings on stock links--and the links broke at the threaded part after some spirited driving. I now run an uprated Addco swaybar with poly bushings all around and much more robust links.

Thanks, I thought that might be the solution but I never take anything for granted in this endeavor. I can use all the sage advice I can get.
