There was a thread not too long ago mentioning these machines. A friend of mine recently showed me these pictures of early examples (built in the early to mid 60s) built by his father! Interesting machines!! The perfect Everglades hunting brakes!

Mike, we had similar creations up here, but for use in the snow. My dad built a snow version of an airboat that worked pretty well.

That really sounds cool Jeff, a snow version of an air boat!! When I lived on the Navesink river in N.J. we used to have quite a few ice boats sailing the river in winter! That was neat too!!
