i have a feeling that this is not "factory" but i could be wrong... sure looks worn out to me...

Uh, no...not unless you can weld up and redrill the hole. That's typical of extreme neglect of lower trunnion bushings...which makes me think that I don't want to see photos of the trunnion itself! :shocked:

Frankly, it shouldn't be difficult to get hold of a much better A-arm. They're the same for all Spitfire, GT6, Vitesse and all but the very, very earliest of Heralds.
 
thats what i thought...havent got the driver side all the way apart yet but i am sure it looks the same.

quick look at VB shows these parts at about $120 each...yikes...

anyone got a serviceable set for sale?


glad i haven's fought the bushings out of this one yet...lol
