Hey, after two years of replacing parts: bushings, shocks, springs, brakes, brake lines and a few other things i got the car going recently and have found a problem after going over bumps in the road that sounds like something is loose, I went in and tightened everything down, I did discover that i had the spacers on rear springs on top that was wrong and put them on the bottom of the springs, and it did improve the ride a lot. My question is do you think putting the rear sway bar back on would help as well as alignment improve the ride? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Milt

I am having the alignment worked on at a shop, i did realize one of the lever shock bolts wasn't as tight as i thought it was, i will be taking it back out soon to test it again, I am also putting the anti sway bar in the rear back on to see if that helps with the situation. Thanks for your comment.

Loose bolts on the lever shocks are common and cause a clunking sound. I had the very same problem. Put the car on jack stands and tightened the bolts and problem solved.
