Anybody seen this? Just what I'd like but already beyond my means. Pristine unrestored cars are darn scarce therefore
expensive. If it's as good as it seems it will probably go for more.

That's as nice as they come. Someone will be very happy with that car.

Wait a minute ,I thought for sure that car was sold last week!!

I sure hope not. It was still sitting in my garage 20 minutes ago.

Lots of interest, though, especially from Canada(?!)
Wish me luck..

Jeff

Was there another one just like this on the forum that sold last week?

GO Jeff, go. I'd like to see it go thru the roof. It would help me start restoration on the one I have. I'll try to get you the engine number on mine this week. BTW, I have a restored 67 GMB A/H3000 as well and plan to keep it.

Jeff,

We need to somehow convince you that it's better to keep the Triumphs (you had a nice TR4 too in the past).

I hope the auction goes well for you!

Scott

Perfect timing for the auction, with the current Sports Car and Exotics article on our much beloved TR2-3Bs.

Jeff, do I recall you once had a pristine TR4, Spa White? No?

Yes, you have a very good memory. It went to Greece for a good price, then their economy promptly collapsed....The new owner had lots of fun with it, showing it, etc. and it was featured in a European sports car magazine. He sent me a copy and of course I couldn't read a word as it was in Greek or something. In the photo spread, it was fun to see that the TR still had it's Virginia inspection sticker in the window. Here's a photo before it was shipped.

The buyer in Greece sold it. I gave a thought to bidding on it again, but it was almost too perfect. It really is a piece of art. It had to be hard to sell it.

Any idea where that car is today?

I assume it is still in Europe somewhere.

I probably should have kept it. However, I've finally figured out that I enjoy the hunt more than keeping a collection. That's why I always have something coming and something going, I suppose.

I admire folks who can keep a car a long time. I've never been able to bring myself to do it.

Maybe the Healey will be different.

Best regards, Jeff
