As much as I like ebay, I just checked on this auction and it has the top going for over $3900 with three hours to go.

I sure hope no one on this forum is the bidder, but at the risk of offense that is absolute insanity. Something seems definitely fishy on the whole deal.

Unbelievable Price, I sent the buyer a warning to be on guard and to make sure to get legit contact info.
 
Boy was I wrong about the price. I even thought about selling my stuff for $4k.
 
Wow! Somebody must have really wanted that option. I wonder how many folks with the factory top would gladly sell theirs for that much?

I am not selling my factory backlight, but I am now dreading finding an original hard section even more now. I think I will spend less with Revington or Honeybourne Mouldings.
 
Man. my $2500 guess was way off!!!!!! $3952.00 seems a bit steep to me.
 
UPDATE----The buyer sent me a message back after I warned him to watch out. He said his brother lives in NJ and checked it out and said it was for real. The buyer said he paid too much for it (do you think?) but really wanted it. Also the Widow had other tops but not complete. This must have been Hectors or his sons wife, so now that one of them is out of the picture the sale is legit----but the price?-ouch!!.
