Holy Cow. I went to see a friend just now who lives about 10 miles from me. Nice twisty drive.
Got to heat the tires and get loose a bit going there. Lots of fun.
Coming home the sky let loose. Downpour.
Tip: Dunlop Z1 tires ain't for high speed wet driving.
I needed to keep my speed up to keep the interior dry. I hit puddles that cause the water to come over the bonnet and splash the windshield.
Surf City. It would go sideways in the curves. Not for the faint of heart.
Had a blast. Worst part was waiting on the electric gate at my driveway to open. That gate sure is slow when you're getting doused in a thunderstorm.

David, what color did you paint your car? I was thinking of something similar, such as Riviera Blue found on some Porsche's.
Thanks!

It's a Dupont with base coat, clear coat.
Here is the code from my touchup bottle.

David my bug-eye won't hold a candle to yours for look's or power but I've been driving it quite a bit this summer and it sure is fun to toss around!:glee:

Makes my square body cars feel clumsy.

Kurt.

I agree, mine is a beater, but runs great, handles great, and loves the roundabouts

They have a tight feel that really comes through in the seat of your pants.
Add in that quick steering ratio and ...
The speed you can carry INTO a corner is nothing short of amazing.
