I have been told that the Moss SC will be available for the 948 in the near future summer fall. I'am considering doing it.I have a 948 with 5000 miles stock except bolt ons runs great but..
I had a judson and never went thru with it. It needed to be rebulit and was short the crank pulley and people say the are a love hate thing.Sold it.
The unit from moss is a modern Eaton same as units on current production cars. should be more rugged with the roller bearings. I need some input from people with experence with the moss unit for the 1275 unit see what they think of it. Can this be a weekend romping setup or is this a tinkers dream. THis car is my get away from it all driver I whant to keep it that way, if this is a deal where I'm constantly tinkering with it it not going to be an option.

Why not put that money towards a good 1275. I'd guess you'd end up with more power. Don't get me wrong I've been very happy with Moss supercharger, but I do not see how it would make economical sense for a 948.

I had a 948 Judson for a while back 20 years ago. Wasn't really happy with it. I think they are a garbage design. And on the 950 the performance was just not good enough. I will be very happy when I get the 1275 done. I expect good reliable performance like the later model spridgets I've driven.
