Supercharger PICS

Hello!
I don't post on this board very often, but on the "other" board there was an interest in the new Moss Supercharger Kit.

My local parts supplier is one of a few shops that is doing an installation of the kit. I recently took some pictures and posted them here:
Supercharg er PICS

(I hope I didn't violate any board rules by doing that).

Unfortunately, it's not *my* car that's being worked on (not yet at least

I can take more pictures if needed. There are some tricks to installing this I've learned. If you have any questions, the best thing would be to contact Classic Restorations (tell him I sent ya).

The question remains....does one turbocharge or supercharge? EIther way, if it's an ordinary Brit sports car, I'd do a yearly check on rod-bearing condition....forced induction is great fun, but internal loads can be real high with these devices.
Here's my idea of a classic supercharger (on a Blower Bentley, taken at Louden in early Aug 03...the owners have *four* of these cars, each one being worth over $1,000,000 (USD). They tell me that they'll be at Lime Rock on labor Day too.

Yes they are great pics. Do let us know when you have more? I'd really like to see the end result.

Personally I think this is a neat kit. But I haven’t committed to this yet and am still considering all of my options for improving the performance of my 78B.

Here are a couple of photos I took of a homemade turbo-ed setup at a car show I attended....don't know anything else about it except he said he did it all himself - no kit!

If you look closely at the carb in the photos I posted, you'll find it came off a Harley, I think?

Not too keen on the Draw through carbs. I was actually wondering if a box could be built to Pressureize my weber and Turbocharge AND intercool the car. Now that.. would be Sweet.
