Perhaps this has been covered already...I don't visit the forum everyday so I might have missed it, but the best TR-6 dash to be found might just likely come from a craftsman named Carl Visser in Wyoming. He sells on eBay, type in "TR6 dashboard". His feedback isn't just 100%, read the comments!!

His prices are around $230 or $140 less than Moss and the quality is superb. Plus he will send you photos of avaiable dashes so you can choose your own grain pattern. Either "bland" if you want to match the original, or more aggressive patterns if you feel daring.

I am completely satisfied with mine.

Thanks Ned, and Paul very nice stuff. The last one I got from - - - fit like crap but was on sale at the time and was not used for over a year. They did not want to take care of the problem. I made it work but I still see the problem areas. Next time I have $200.00 burning a hole in my pocket I may order one.

Looks like he sells them for TR4/TR4A's as well.

Hi Scott,

I just checked his offerings & He surely does have "TR4" dash` available for the same cost.

I guess I`m going to have to buy one of these for the "Next" up-coming project (`65TR4).

Thanx for the Hds Up Gents,

Russ

PS: Basil; I suggested to him to become a sponsor here & perhaps get to sell a whole bunch of his dashes.

He has in the past sold dashes for Spitfires on ebay for around $199. He even has different ones for the different years, as they have subtle changes.

I think someone with a 4 will need to work with him a little - the dash he is selling right now looks setup for a 4A, which won't fit right in the center plinth area for a TR4. Looks like very good stuff though.

Randy,

Right and the TR4 dash would need an extra hole for the dash light switch/rheostat (left of tachometer).
