The Goodyear airship is orbiting, streets "out here" in th' 'burbs are empty, some greedy outsider has purchased every copy of the Tampa Trib from my local QuikRip... weather is getting warmer but NOT where I'd like it.

NBC has 'continuing coverage' of the whole fracas, talking heads showing some of the local sights. One nice thing was the Barber twins' spot included Donatello's restaurant.
Good Italian fare any time.

Arizona has a football team?

Next thing you know you're going to tell me Indianapolis does too!

Got me some Netflix to watch tonight. Can't wait

PS: I wasn't going to add anything, but this seemed like a great place to put my 4444th post.

Amazing, I thought the season was over weeks ago!!

It was...when the Giants turned to mush. :eeek:

Oh, is that THIS weekend?

TO be honest i only watch for the commercials.

I heard that the Cardinals have the 2nd longest streak without a championship in US professional sports, next to the Cubs.
I want the Cardinals to win so bad, just so the Cubbies are all alone in Loserville.

You all have it wrong.... wait until 2010 for the World Cup and the real
"World Champions"

Agreed. A team can only call themselves "world champions" if the other teams in the world are eligible to compete for that championship.

The winner of the superbowl will be National Champions. Nothing more. Same as the "world" series. It's a North American championship....... In fact the current world champion in baseball is Japan.

Well no matter who you were rooting for, I think most would agree that was a great game with more twists than an Agatha Christie novel!

I don't often watch a Super Bowl but this one was great fun. More twists and turns that the Dragon's Tail.

It was a great game, and if the Bidwells would agree to acknowledge that they did not win the 1925 championship, and agree to share it with the team that beat them in the championship game, the Pottsville Maroons, I would even feel sorry for the Cardinals now. David Fleming's book "Breaker Boys" is an interesting story of this exciting team and a blot on the history of the NFL.

GO STEELERS!

This was a fantasic game, I would have cheered for the Cardinals against any one but the home town Steelers.
