I've been kinda quiet lately, just keeping busy. Air has a chill, finally caved and turned on the heat. Then borrowed a torpedo heater from a buddy to keep moving on the latest customer job I have going in the garage. An 02 Accord with a burnt exhaust valve in #3. I got the head off, and am now in the process of deciding if it's cheaper to buy valves and have a machine shop grind the seats, or see about a good replacement head.
The Porsche is patiently waiting for me to finish the wiring repair, and I hope to be seeing some road time by next spring.
On top of those projects, I have a co-worker that wants me to rebuild his 79 panhead HD over the winter.
That and my day job, and teaching classes in the evening and on Saturdays.......
Gee, I can't understand why I haven't been posting much lately.
So what'yall up to?

Had a nice pork roast last night with 'kraut and roast 'tatoes, smothered in beef gravy. One of my favorite meals.

Pork roast yesterday as well, early dinner at a local Czech restaurant that we had to ourselves. Salad, pork roast w/ gravy, potato dumplings, rye bread and the best sweet cabbage ever for $9.95. In the morning we had gone to the lake to wrap up the boat for winter. In the evening watched another strange ending to a series game.
Going out now to clean up my road bicycle for sale.

Diesela just threw a shoe (an alternator, actually). I have a neighbor's '91 Pontiac Sunbird in the drive for some extensive brake and EFI work (known the guy for about twenty years, only reason I'd touch the job), MGB gas tank is now coated, repainted and in place but no sender in yet. Clients keep callin' to interrupt my progress! Oh, and the microwave/convection oven in Herself's kitchen went on th' fritz yesterday. Stuff is breaking faster than I can keep up with!!

Goll dang! I may have another one on the plate. Coworker has a late 90s Ponticracker Grand Am with a bum slushbox. I may be able to pick it up for pennies. Sounds like a fix-n-flip to raise some funds for Stray Cat.

that you're in CR (my Dad was born & raised there).My last name is Milota-
semi-common in the Midwest.
There's also a good Czech resturaunt in Wilson,Kansas,that
we've stopped at twice.It Downtown - you can't miss it.

- Cortina wagon has an overheating problem when idling for a length of time

- TR6 needs the new m/c installed

Did a heater core on a Durango last month. that was a job! I think flat-rate on that is 5.5 hours. Plus I had it from several sources to pony up the extra cash for a genuine Mopar core. the aftermarket ones are sketchy.

Since I brought up Czech, since this thread is not specific and since it more interesting than my dinner, the flood of 2008 got the museum. The big story is they moved the sucker. Months prep and 3 day continuous to move 480 feet and raise 11':
