Hmmm... Those jokes sound familiar... Just substitute Peykan for Lada and/or Yugo and/or Skoda? [see below] /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Welcome to the forum and congrats - I think - on owning an unusual car. A guy I know here in Calgary owns a Sunbeam Arrow, he told me once that he was always have Iranians come in to his shop asking about it thinking it was a Peykan. A picture of that car can be found in the Classifieds forum by scrolling down to find the post called "Sunbeam Arrow for sale".

Welcome!

Pictures??? Not many of us have ever seen a Peykan I'd guess unless they've travelled or worked over in that part of the world. There's a Members Gallery around here to post pictures into easily...

So what's British car ownership like over in your part of the world? A guy in our British car club has worked in the Middle East for many years (has a Triumph Stag in storage here in Canada) and has written about a few interesting discoveries, but in some countries his classic car discoveries were few and far between.

Welcome to the Forum!

I have to admit to being curious about your intro post. Your screen name sounds spanish, the website you posted was from Iran, and your location lists Slovenia, quite the mix. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Welcome again.

You can call it globalization. The world is so small.

Cool, and I thought I was reaching out being a Texan with a St. Louisan wife.
