Gents, this is a question mainly to the German drivers of this community. First time (after 8 years) the German Technical Supervisory Association (TÜV) complained that my BN6 does not have any sun shades and told me that I have to add these.

My questions:

Regards,

Volker

I have those. The are poor at blocking the sun. I have a BJ8 and it clips nicely to the top of the wind screen using an Allen screw. They will dig into the chrome. I use a piece of plastic against the chrome. The sun goes right through not blocking much. I would darken them with the sun block sheets that sticks on windows.
Plead your case based on it being a "historic car".

Volker:

Maybe you can make your own by purchasing locally made polarized UV Blocking thin plastic sheet .--???

Similar solution from Oregon Aircraft design using suction cups.
