Sump, Dude?

In a similar vein, I have thought of designing a catch basin for my British cars, connect to a pump and filter that would return the oil to the sump.
 
There is such a thing for the T-series MGs (an aftermarket invention) that collects oil.
I always figured that, in dry climates, maybe a special oil diaper might be used... and regularly changed. :cool:
