Thanks Greg. The "Control Center > Hardware Additional Drivers" choice isn't in Debian, so I've tried several other ways to try to find a file that fixes the 4318 issue. I did find another B43xx DEB package, and am trying these ideas to install it.


None have worked yet, but I'll keep trying.

Will let you know if I succeed. Thanks.

yep - that command ran w/o error. But still no wifi connection.

I have both ethernet and wifi set to connect automatically. I pulled the ethernet cable and see the network icon go red, but wifi doesn't take over.

I see no way in Network Connections to activate the wifi.
