substitute rear brake flexible hose....

is it possible to find a substitute for the rear flexible brake hose at the local auto parts dealer. or, is this hose different and very specfic to fit just an austin healey. my car is a 63 bj7 and i would like to change out the line and not wait on ordering and shipping. any help or insight is appreciated. thanks in advance...

Save yourself a lot of trouble and just order a direct replacement from one of our numerous Brittish car suppliers.

i went ahead and ordered new front and rear flexible brake lines. probably could not find a suitable replacement.

Don't forget the copper washer for the rear hose.

Probably too late for this time around, but I've found braided steel hoses gave a nice firm pedal both on the Healey and the Bugeye. These guys will make you up a set at prices much more reasonable than the usual suppliers: https://www.technafitstore.com/
