I have a set of HS6's on my 70 GT6 that came off of a volvo (will have to check the number) and I need to rebuild one or both would I be better to check volvo dealer or is there a better source

Don't quote me on this, but as best as I can remember, the rebuild kits should be the same for H6s...You'll have different needles and manifold mounts, but the washers and seals should all be the same or similar enough.

You might want to go to a different needle. As I also remember, the Volvo SUs were tuned for a little tamer powerband. The GT6 could benefit for more fuel down low to create that low-end torque.

I could be wrong, and hopefully, if I am, one of the other members will correct me.
