I have been rebuilding SU's for Volvos for many Years. Found that more often the spindle shafts are more worn that the bushings. That said, when I get a set to rebuild and there are shaft clearance issues, I do both the new bushes as well as spindle..... just makes more sense.... With the correct tooling it does not take ages to do the bushes....
