Just installed a set of new SU HS6 Carbs on my 74.5 TR6. I did the same conversion on a previous Tr6 with no issues. The car will not run with the hoses connected to the float bowl vents. It almost seems as if the issue must be with the charcoal canister? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

There must be some air restriction with that canister system. I have found that the float bowl must have open air access. If you must use the canister is there some way to put a T in the line to relieve any + or - pressure?
