SU HS6 carbs

Am in the process of putting HS6 carbs on my FHC. I tried webers but was unsatisfied with the performance. And the linkage looked goofy and cumbersome. So I purchased a set of HS6's off ebay.co.uk from a TR7. I ran into a few problems though, I had to return to the original '76 intake manifold and waterpump cover for the linkage to line up; so in the process damaged my spare intake manifold gasket (new stuff on order) and o-ring. I think that I will be happier with the SU's and when I am done if anyone wants the old stromburgs for parts (you pay for shipping) let me know.
