TR2/3/3A SU horizontal carb linkage rod?

Are you talking about the throttle link to the firewall, or the link between the choke levers?

His do you know it needs to be adjusted?

The throttle link to the firewall. The small plunger and spring at one end of the rod have gone missing and the round knobs(terminology?) that fit into the link ends are worn out of shape. I have a new throttle link rod on order. My guess is I just adjust the threaded rod until I get full throttle opening when the pedal is all the way down but just wondered if there was a stock measurement for it if everything else in the linkage was set up properly.

Yes, set it so the throttle comes to just full open with the pedal against the stop. I don't know of any standard measurement.
