TR2/3/3A SU H6 Carb Leak

I've had my tr3A running for a few years and It has had an ongoing fuel leak from the bottom of the front carburetor whenever I use the choke. I installed new leak free rubber seals from moss which helped a bit, however the leak remains so I just start it without choke. Any ideas?

There are 2 possibilities.

First, there is a large packing nut, which is used to center the jet. If it is loose, fuel will seep around the packing and drip off the jet.

Second, if you are sure the packing for that nut is good and the nut is secure...then you have a defective jet. The big three were selling leaky jets about 10 years ago. The link used to pull and push the jet was drilled completely through, so the jet will leak no matter what you do.
