SU Electronic Fuel Pump

The fuel pump on my 1965 Sprite quit working, so I purchased an electronic SU pump from Moss. It looks like a pretty straightforward replacement except that there are two small tube connections on the pump that aren't present on the original. These are in addition to the large and obvious fuel line connections.

Anyone have an idea what the connections are for?

Hi Keith - I don't see a photo in your post, but I'm thinking the two small fittings are for the vent tube (which wasn't on the original pump).

Thanks Tom. The tube connections on my pump are indeed the vents discussed in the article. I'll tube them up accordingly.

Thanks again!
