two days ago on an unusually warm evening i could not get my 78 b out of the drive way. it was acting cold so no problem right? i had the gas all the way down and it was at a rough idle. then the engine died. it would not start back up. i have the auto water choke set up so i tried adjusting that. usually works but not today. its getting fuel to the carb. I checked timing a few days before and it was perfect. took the distributer cap off looked clean. once in while i will get a bit of hope and it will catch and run rough for a brief second.

they are. I think it has to be in the water choke. I took it off and the dang thing started fine. I even got it to do alittle around the town driving. as soon as i bolt it back on it wont even catch. i have had alot of problems with the zenith carb. i cant get it to stop spitting black smoke either. has any one have any experience switching a late modle B to a 45 MCHH weber?
