There's 3 plugs total. Fill and drain on the axle case and a fill on the diff assembly. Not having the side fill plug on the diff will not be a problem.

In the pic below your can see the drain and fill holes in the axle housing.

Below you can see the fill hole on the diff housing. I have never even been able to get mine out.

Do remember that some (I don't remember which, early ones I think) rear axles do NOT have that rear fill plug.
You just need to verify that your's (when you get it) does
