Stump the band: small car undercover

Who! Now we're experts!
How much does that pay?

Twice as much as moderators!

Mickey - you get paid?

I always stop to check under covers, or knock.....I've missed out on to many cars to make the mistake of not stopping again....If I lived in Texas I might feel differently but here I haven't had that many notable encounters, except one time when I knocked on a door(TR6 in driveway) to be greeted by a guy with a butcher knife covered in blood....apparently he was cooking something, still scared the you know wat outta me.

Yeah - we get half as much as the experts!

A gold star and an "A" for effort, morelike.

I am willing to guess it's a Nash Metropolitan (skinny wheels, narrow track, higher roofline than a Spridget). With a luggage rack.

I'll send my bill round tomorrow.

Not ALL Metropolitans have skinny wheels. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
Or 1500 HP either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think it's time for Bret and his magic X-ray machine!

Still no room on the trunk for a luggage rack - Metro is out as option, IMHO

Lookin' more critically, it could be an MGA with a luggage rack and the cover braced with a hoop of PVC.

Ewwww... Tercel with a LUGGAGE RACK... That's just WRONG...

I'm gonna have baaad dreams now.

That doesn't help the dream problem.

Not a BIT. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Mystery solved: was back in the neighborhood over the weekend and happened to find the car in an uncovered state. Lots of interesting guesses in this thread, did anyone say "real pretty real early MG Midget"?

*PHOOEY!*

Missed by a MILE!

Aha! Just exactly as I thought, even though I said something else to throw you guys off. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I called the luggage rack - does that count?
