Well you know how 1 or 2 bolts just don't want to unscrew well i have 3 head bolts stuck in the block giving me the finger! any tricks to getting them out; i have to remove them so i can get the block to a machine shop. I have soaked them in screw loose and will give them more later.Any ideas people?

Weasel Pee

50/50 mix of auto trans fluid and acetone. Shake well before application. NO SMOKIN' ALLOWED.

I used PB Blaster when I had stuck studs in my TR3. I had called Ken Gillanders at BF&E about the stuck studs, and he mentioned using Kroil, but more importantly to give it about a weeks time to penetrate, giving it a couple of applications a day. Then it's time to get out the pipe wrench and give it a go. He said he's only seen one stud break in the 50 odd years he's been doing this...but, that's on a TRactor motor, not a Spit motor, so YMMV.

You might try heat at the base of the bolts. If all else fails maybe the machine shop can do it for you.

thanks to all of you that replied for my problem i'll keep soaking them and try all your advice ; thanks rick.

This stuff WORKS!!!

It will not become a solution, rather a suspension, so needs to be shaken well before each application.

Search Weasel Pee in the Forum search and read all about it.
