Stuck crossmember bolt

Removing the front suspension crossmember from my car, I got three of the bolts out okay, but the fourth, the one nearest the exhaust manifold, refuses to come out of the hole.

I tried a BFH, soaking it with break-free, and an air chisel. Nothing can budge the bolt.

Has anyone run into this issue before?

Does anyone have a good suggestion on getting one of these things out?

Oh, yeah....been there, done that! Don't bugger that thing up either....

My suggestion is to take the nut off that stud from underneath & see if the beam will drop out....you don't want the stud stuck in the car's frame rail if you can help it...

I had one stuck so badly once that I had to drill it out of the car's frame rail & reinstall the pipe through which the stud goes in that frame rail!!

I did get the crossmember off by un-doing the bottom nut, but I may have "knackered" the top threads, in my "enthusiastic" attempts to get it out.

I've got a box of 'em if you need one. IIRC that was the only way I was able to take them off as well.
